Sup,
Most days, I live inside Figma, Zed, Obsidian and Firefox, moving between and across them.
I've spent the last several years doing design, engineering, freelancing, startups and entrepreneurship. I've dabbled in music and the arts too.
I care most about making things real. Going from idea to product. Turning ambiguity into prototype.
And that usually means getting involved wherever the problem takes me — product strategy, UX, interface design, architecture, implementation, distribution, meetings and calls with potential users or figuring out why the first idea didn't work.
My path
I dropped out of college and started freelancing.
Freelancing forced me to learn how to sell, design, communicate with clients, and ship software for people who were paying me to solve real problems.
From there I moved deeper into product engineering and startups, while continuing to build my own products and experiments.
I've never really stayed inside one role for very long. The common thread has always been building.
Outside software
I write a lot, occasionally draw, travel, and often get distracted by ideas that probably should have stayed ideas.
I love playing video games, listening to 50s - 70s music, driving, and taking people on trips (this I discovered recently).
